Oleksandr (‘Sasha’) began his karting career at the age of five, quickly becoming a Ukrainian national champion in the “Micro” class. In 2023, he secured the FIA Junior European Karting Championship title, becoming the first Ukrainian in history to join the Williams Racing Driver Academy. Competing in Formula 4 with PREMA Racing, Sasha continued to make history: in 2025, he was crowned the E4 Rookie Champion, and in 2026, he became the F4 UAE Overall Champion — the first Ukrainian ever to win a formula championship of this level.
In 2026, Sasha moved up to the FIA Formula Regional European Championship (FREC), the next step on the FIA single-seater ladder toward Formula 1. He made his Formula Regional debut in September, competing in the final two rounds of the season. At his debut weekend in Imola, Sasha claimed a historic victory in Race 3, becoming the first Ukrainian driver to win a Formula Regional race.
